Proper, everyday make-up removal is the basis of daily skin care. If we neglect it, we can be sure that the condition of our skin will quickly deteriorate. Washing away impurities, cosmetics, sebum from the skin not only leaves it purified and healthier, but also has an impact on the effect of cosmetics applied later

Poorly performed makeup removal, or lack thereof can have fatal consequences

Thorough and careful makeup removal should be a daily habit. If we skip this step, the skin will regenerate more slowly, it will become dry, less firm and elastic, and wrinkles will be more visible. Inadequate cleansing of the skin from the dirt and cosmetics accumulated throughout the day can cause redness, allergies and eczema. The ingredients of creams do not work as they should, because they are not able to penetrate deep into our skin.

How to properly perform makeup removal?

Make-up removal should be done with special cosmetics designed for this purpose. In drugstores we can find lotions, micellar liquids and gels. One should remember that milk additionally lubricates and moisturizes the skin so it is better to use this product for women with dry skin. Apply the chosen product on a cotton pad and gently rub your face. It is important to remember that you should not press or rub your skin, because you can irritate it and cause wrinkles to appear faster

Finally, it is worth to wipe the face with a toner, which will restore the right pH of the skin and refresh it. Only when the skin is completely cleansed, we can rub into it the cream designed for our skin type.

How to regenerate skin after wearing makeup?

There is probably no woman who would not happen to fall asleep wearing makeup. The reason can be different – and this is a strong fatigue, and the morning after the party, worse mood, etc. Then the skin in the morning does not look the best. It is tight, wrinkles are more visible, as well as dark circles under the eyes. Unfortunately, this is not the end of the story, there are also clogged pores and a dull complexion. In extreme cases, even redness and allergies. But we can’t turn back the clock, so instead of getting depressed, we need to take action!

First you need to thoroughly cleanse your face and remove all traces of makeup and other accumulated impurities. Then you should do a thorough exfoliation to remove dead skin and prepare the skin for further regeneration. If we do not have a ready-made cosmetic from the drugstore, we can make a scrub from coffee grounds. It is enough to mix them with face gel and wash your face. This allows the skin to better absorb active ingredients from cosmetics, which are later applied to the face

Another step that will allow rapid regeneration is a mask that will nourish and moisturize our skin. A good idea is to make a homemade mask from products that you can find at home. The one made of cucumber pulp and aloe vera can help. Just hollow out the vegetable, mash with a fork and add a little aloe vera gel. The whole mix thoroughly so that the ingredients combine. Then, apply the mixture on your face and leave it for about 20 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water

A mask made of avocado and yogurt is also effective. Blend a small avocado and add 2-3 tablespoons of natural yogurt. It is also worth adding 3-4 drops of vitamin A. We mix the whole thing and apply it for 20 minutes. The skin will be noticeably nourished

After this procedure, it is worth rubbing a light cream, which will make the skin smoother, softer and more radiant. And finally – it is worth going for a walk to get some fresh air and energize not only the skin but also the whole body.
